If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent more time scrolling on LinkedIn over the years than you care to admit. And it seems like EVERYONE knows exactly what they’re doing… ALL THE TIME. 

No one launches a new initiative that epically fails. Everyone is crushing their sales goals. Talent of all ages is making hundreds of thousands of dollars…if not millions…and some of them don’t even have to work 40 hours. Oh…and everyone gets up at 5 a.m. and has a secret hack to grow your business overnight.

Sound familiar? 

That’s what my LinkedIn feed tends to look like on a daily basis. It’s filled with go-to-market leaders putting a constant spin on what’s happening to create the allusion of never-ending success. 

And it’s demoralizing and exhausting. 

The truth is that go-to-market is FREAKING hard…and it’s never been harder than it is right now. 

Tactics that previously drove results for your business can stop working overnight….for absolutely no reason. 

Ideas that shouldn’t work at all…can drive unexpected success. 

Changes in the market can cause your pipeline to evaporate. 

There are never enough resources…and more funding only means completely unrealistic goals. 

Team infighting between sales, marketing, product, and CX is almost guaranteed.  

And EVERYONE has an opinion on the go-to-market strategy…so you’re consistently facing a barrage of “suggestions.
 
It’s like playing a never-ending game of whack-a-mole. 

We haven’t even mentioned how flooded the market is…and the overwhelming amount of options customers can choose from. It’s almost impossible to stand out for any length of time. 

The worst part…most go-to-market leaders feel like they’re completely alone. Because everyone else seems to only talk about how easy it is.

That’s why I created the GTM Confessions podcast. A place where grown-ups can get together and discuss what it’s like to be a go-to-market leader today without the bullshit. No spin. No fake numbers. Nothing but the real, hard truths.
